Founded in 1981, the Cardinal Singers of Raleigh began as a small group of music enthusiasts who shared a dream of creating beautiful choral music in our community. As we approach our 50th year, we are delighted to have grown into a beloved fixture of the Raleigh choral scene with over 60 inter-generational members.
Our name reflects both our pride in our North Carolina roots and our soaring musical aspirations. Like the cardinal bird, we bring color, joy, and song to our community throughout all seasons.

Over the years, we've been privileged to perform at prestigious local venues and events including the North Carolina State Capitol, the NC Executive Mansion, and Raleigh's International Festival, collaborated with local university and civic choirs, and participated in numerous choral community events both across the Triangle area and internationally.
In 2008, we were honored to receive the City of Raleigh's Fred Fletcher Outstanding Volunteer Award of Excellence.
The Cardinal Singers of Raleigh is a volunteer treble chorus that performs for senior living communities, clubs, and public events. The Cardinal Singers' mission is to lift spirits, celebrate life, and connect with our audiences and each other through music.
